Submission Guidelines

We are looking for the finest in military fiction and non-fiction.

If you have a manuscript that you would like to send us, please first ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is this manuscript in the best possible shape? Do I believe it is ready to sell, or am I just testing the waters?
  • Have I completed the manuscript?
  • Does it fit the guidelines of the kinds of books that Warriors Publishing Group publishes?

If you can answer yes to all of the above, then please do the following:

Send a query letter and the first ten pages, along with a detailed synopsis of the entire book, in the body of an email to

Because of the high volume of email submissions we receive, we will only respond to your query if we are interested in seeing more. We will get in touch with you if we are interested in your project. If we are interested in your work, we will contact you and ask to see the entire manuscript.

All submissions should be sent by e-mail. We expect a professional presentation that fits basic industry standards.

Any additional materials sent other than that listed above will be deleted. Best of luck to you!

    • It depends on what it is you want to do with your manuscript. Amazon is a great way for many books. We have a larger distribution network that sells on Amazon along with other online sellers and bookstores. If your book was accepted by us, you’d have a track record with a publishing company which gives a bit more clout than self-publishing, although that’s changing some as technology advances. You’d get your book published much quicker with Amazon, since we take time to edit, polish, lay out the book, get review quotes where we can, pre-sell books before publishing, promote, and so on…all of which takes time. So if you want your book to go on sale this year, for example, you’re better off selling it directly yourself.

It just depends on you! We also get many, many submissions and only publish four or so books per year so that we can give them a lot of attention. So there’s a lot of manuscripts that don’t get published with us…

    • We usually reply pretty quickly; a lot quicker than we do comments here! When we reply we’ll give you a sense of how long the review will take.

  1. I’m a retired infantry platoon sergeant, I put my LinkedIn profile link in the Website field, for the sake of brevity. Would you consider reviewing either of both of my first two novels of a military space opera series The Enlightenment Protocols? ‘Tribes’ and ‘Shatrujeet!’ by G.W. Morgan (my pen name) are both available on Amazon. I would be happy to gift them to you. I have provided links to each, where you can make use of the ‘Look Inside’ feature to get a feel for them.
In short, Tribes, describes events leading up to the Commonwealth of Stellar States Fleet Task Force Draken’s discovery of our tribe here on Sol-Earth in 2013. (Note: the year-long reconnaissance of Sol-Earth is in ‘Commoners of Draken’ as yet unpublished.)
‘Shatrujeet!’ is a first command, first major action of a young cavalry officer of the Valerian Armed Forces, (a contemporary of the Commonwealth). Four hundred years before Tribes Lt Castrada Vida, IEX cavalry platoon pursues slave raiding pirates plaguing the newly enlightened tribes on the planets of the Jova stellar group.
